Jingle Bells

When I found out my husband Fred and I would get to go home for the holidays, I did a little dance of joy and said a prayer of thanks. And when I learned we'd be home in time to see Ashlyn's, our youngest granddaughter's, first Christmas show, I shed some happy tears and thanked God again.
During Ashlyn's preschool class performance, I kept smiling, starting from when I snapped a mirrored image of her and her classmates waiting for the cue to start singing and dancing and continued through exuberant numbers and during the surprise Santa Clause visit. The look on Ashlyn's face when she spotted Santa warmed me from head to toe and brought back the childlike wonder of Christmas.
Happy Holidays!

This is a wonderful entry. Children's programs are so much a part of the celebration of Christmas. I love to attend them, especially now that our grandchildren are performing. We grandmothers are touched the most by watching our grandchildren sing and dance their little hearts out. Great photos.
