I shot this with a digital point n' shoot camera [Sony Cyber Shot] , You do not need expensive equipment to take creative and mind blowing photographs!

I came across this "technique" totally by accident. It has turned out to be one of the most exciting things I have ever came across with my camera [so far]. I was simply taking a picture of my dog earlier today and forgot my last picture I took was of the moon the other night out side my best friends house. And so I had the aperture and f-stop way off. So the picture came out all blurry and messed up. I looked at the image and saw the Christmas lights I have hung up on my wall. They were swirling in all different directions. They looked like little loops and swirls. Like something you might see at a rave party.

So I took my camera and played around with ISO levels, apertures and f-stops. And I saw the amazing and mind blowing photographs that came of out it. I simply just pointed my camera at the lights and jumped around with it. I waved the camera around in circles. At times I even just spun in circles myself. And the out come of all that spinning, jumping and waving was that amazing lines and squiggles that showed up on the display screen of my camera. I was amazed how one simple accident, (it was defiantly not a mistake) became a really cool technique I am sure I will use again over and over again. And I just wanted to share with you all the amazement that came across.

Hope you enjoy! So go play with your camera now, and see what you get out of this technique. And just to add, I love the fact that you can never take the same photo twice using this technique.
