A Sunday morning stroll yields surprises if your are looking at the right place. People usually avoids back alleys and places were building and houses are not in the best conditions. Associated with social and material decay, these places are avoided by most. In the soft light and little activity of a Sunday morning, there are treasures to be found in colors, textures, materials and angles that are worth examining and admire.
Beauty resides not only in the colorful and well preserved buildings. It can also be found in the old, decrepit and forgotten structures. Ravaged by time and neglect, through the scaling paint and holes in stucco you can hear the whispers from the past and sometimes the screams of beauty that refuses to go quietly.
