For many years, I have searched in vain for what I think is the perfect way to carry lots of camera gear for long distances and long periods of time. But to no avail. Every camera bag had it's own unique shortfall and every camera bag lacked the one essential feature I sought. The ability to carry food and water.

After all, food and water is essential equipment, just as important as data cards, lenses, and GPS receivers.

Then one day I came across an advertisement for www.thinktankphoto.com. This company claimed to be run by photographers for photographers and all of their products were designed by photographers. Now there is a unique idea. A product designed by the person who will be using it.

When I looked at the multitude of different camera bags thinktankphoto offered I knew I had found something new and better than all the previous camera bag companies I had ever tried before.

I dove into the thinktankphoto website with an enthusiasm I had not felt in years. There, on the first page of products was the answer that I had been seeking for years. The Pro Modulus Speed Set 12 pc. Deluxe Modular set, waist belt included.

This all in one system gave me everything I needed and more. Finally, I could carry all the equipment I wanted without a shoulder bag or sling bag or some other semi useful not what I really needed rube goldberg half-thought out attempt of a camera bag. The Pro Modulus Speed Set 12 pc. Deluxe Modular set gives you a harness that goes over both shoulders and attaches to a belt which holds all of your gear. Each bag that attaches to the belt can be locked in place, or the bag can slide on the belt. This gives you the ability to move some or all of the bags around. Additionally, you can attach one or more R U Thirsty bags which are designed to hold water bottles and small amounts of food such as an energy bar.

After trying all twelve of the bags in the Pro Modulus Speed Set 12 pc. Deluxe Modular set, I have finally figured out how to carry all of the equipment listed below.

one Nikon D70s,

one Nikon 10.5mm fisheye lens,

one Nikon 18-70mm zoom lens with lens hood attached,

one Nikon 70-300mm VR zoom lens with lens hood attached,

one Nikon 105mm VR macro lens with lens hood attached,

multiple data cards,

multiple batteries,

the batter recharger if necessary,

the camera manual,

two water bottles,

and a light lunch, usually an apple and some M&M's

as well as business cards for my blog site

a small pad of paper and two pens

car keys

wallet and ID and lots of room left over

Imagine being able to carry all of this equipment for miles and miles without any back pain. Thinktankphoto deserves a hearty pat on the back for a job well done and a one of a kind product that in my opinion is "PERFECT"

Since purchasing this system I have been slowly giving away all of my old camera bags. The lowepro sling bag is gone. The Tamron bag gone. Now all I use is the thinktankphoto Pro Modulus Speed Set 12 pc. Deluxe Modular set.

I am also thinking of purchasing one of the Urban Disguise bags which is the first camera bag I have ever seen that does not scream "CAMERA BAG PLEASE STEAL ME." While this bag is a shoulder bag like some of my previous bags it can be attached to a shoulder harness that will evenly distribute the weight over both shoulders and again there will be no back pain. If this is not brilliant, I don't know what is.

Please check out the www.thinktankphoto.com site for more information about the bags I have mentioned in this short article and many other bags that I am sure will suit your needs.

Thank you
