Trembling Close to You/Just My Imagination

I was looking through some old galleries of favorite shots I had posted on another photography website and was struck by an underlying theme that I hadn't seen before. Perhaps it is end of year sadness in my head, but I think these all have a feeling of something that we all share. Our heart is so close to something that never happened, of what could have been. Perhaps that is what I enjoy so much about photography. Trying to capture a fleeting feeling in the everyday. Perhaps places I missed over the years, or shots I missed over the years or just plain melancholy. or as the Bill Rose/Oakley Hall collaboration is titled "The Lose of Nameless Things". http://www.pbs.org/independentlens/lossofnamelessthings/film.html
See it if you get a chance. It is a wonderful documentary of soul, art and spirit, family, and friends and most of all love. cheers!
