Check out and vote for my entries for the upcoming edition! I'd also appreciate some comments/feedback on the photos. What works, what doesn't, what can I improve?
The main photo is my entry for Severe Weather. This shot was taken on a very interesting trip from Germany to Denmark. Please see the photo for the story.
Second is my entry for Beloved. This is my dog Sammy. I rescued him from the Oregon Humane Society four years ago. He is my best buddy and my house would be empty without him. I used to take him to work with me when I worked box office at several theatres in Portland. He would greet patrons and help sell tickets.
Last is my entry for Shoot from the Hip. I mainly like this photo for the color and that you can barely see the outline of the trees. See the photo for the story behind it!
