All across America in the big cities and small town and rural area's there are cemeteries that hold our Friends and Families, if you go on the internet and type in the county and state you live in you will find the names of the cemeteries in your area, Find a Grave is a web sight that will allow you to up load photo's and information that is needed. it's a opportunity for photographers across America to help other people as well as document history.
You will find out a lot about America through the people who have passed on before you , from Slaves to the Brave Men and Women who have Died for this Great Country of Ours.

This is very important part of preserving out history. I photograph cemeteries and put them up on USGENWEB.org state sites. I have done many in PA and MD and have started one here in MI since I can't get out to PA and MD everytime I want. These sites are free and hold more information such as obituaries, marriage announcements, etc. Thanks for bringing this to everyone.s attention Glenn. voted
