they dont make a living singing haunting melodic hymns backward
collars of the church hide crosses in their pockets adolescents paint pimples with cream to hide their imperfections eden is psychemedicine and leather belts hold up baggy pants in eden where men fall into the cracks and get lost eternally tortured fat men make it mean that religious delusions are for men to hear voices from ungod &nogod
who make up stories they want to hear about how god talks only to them his beloved chosen scabs they peal off their skin when the sores get dirty &turns traitor judas thats the end of the game they pick their faces &legs pull things out of their skin out-of-body little pieces of things from planet zero they blow their nose in the car they never drive
because of a blood clot on the mirror face red hair covered in beautiful dark red &purple blood they sell the best glass but mostly have no money wont work they threaten people with forks theres no beat for the tongue justifies lips condemns believing swallowing tastes good but without a rubber they die without risk they're bored with sex without a warranty hates the slow dance spinning out of control nobody in key
there is no key no chords no meter no purpose sweats after a good issue the sax brings over they cant remember their name isnt sure their name is important redhed girl with eyes apologizes for hiding her face behind the screen their eyes roll up into the back of their head behind the sanctuary where they bury them hanging from the beams in the ceiling in the center of the church wears torn pantyhose everyday mystical chases after the rush &jazz master walks around town wearing a wool blanket drinking beer out of a can in a garage laughing that crazy laugh homeless people always laugh &stares at walls all day aimlessly towards nothing they stay away from jazz past present &rainlike because it leaves a bl& taste in their mouth mucus mixed with booze fear &they hear positively fourth street from the floor below somewhere haight &masonic
