Photo Essay

Digging into the Archives

Tubing the Swattie

I had great intentions when I first started using Lightroom for my cataloging and postprocessing over a year ago. I was going to sort through my pix and weed out the rejects right away. I was going to keyword all my shots with at least one keyword that would afford me an easier time recalling any one particular shot. I was going to rank my photos.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Now, I have over 12,000 images in my 2008 catalog. Some of them are keyworded, some are ranked, some have been sifted through. Many, many have not.

Over the last several days I've been wading through the endless sea of images trying to make amends for my lack of discipline. This batch of images is the result of that process.
