Ham Radio & Morse Code

In 1800's morse code started. The President staff used morse code way back too. There was no phone back then. How they get contact to other? They used morse code to contact to other. In Military, they used morse code, too. Some people used for hobbies. Some other used it to save people life. People not understand that their are different between CB radio and Ham Radio. Ham radio, you have to have license. There are different lievel for ham radio and morse code. When katrina hited new orleans, the blind man send morse code or call s.o.s. on ham radio. did he get his help? Yes he did get some help. People need to understand that they can help other people like bad weather, there are storm tracker program too. Fire, Hurricane, power out, no phone, people can help other out like they found out where they are locate at and send them some help for them. What happen in the future where no power, no phone, no cell phone. What left? Ham radio and Morse code. Whole worlds do it too. A person can get in touch with Japan, China, Germany, England, Italy, and Canda. When you help someone like that. Can make yourself feel good. You can make friends on ham radio and morse code. Make the different today. There are people are handicap, blind are doing morse code and ham radio. If you like to do it, then go to local area to find ham radio club. I had met blind man. He do morse code and ham radio since he was 9 year old. Now he is in his 40's. My husband do ham radio and morse code. I am proud of him for have ham radio and morse code license. He didn't give up. He felt good when he help people in our area too. Try to find your local area of ham radio. Make the different today. Help other out. Make yourself feel good.
