All little girls should get to wear a pretty frilly skirt and twirl...

Growing up in a household full of girls can be tough. Especially if you are somewhat of a tomboy and technically the middle child.
"What?" you say.."thought you are a twin?" you say.
Yes. I am a twin. The first born. However, Deb and I have an older sister, Christy. So...I am a middle child. My mother pointed this out to me all the time when I acted like the middle child. Christy is/was the beautiful prom queen older sister while Debra was the younger artistic shy sister. (she is not shy anymore) Whatever Christy did I immediately did the opposite. She was the Valentine queen cheerleader type and I despised every minute of her in that role. Took the opposite path of an athlete or at least tried to. Growing up I loathed anything frilly and pink. Never was interested in being a girl. ever.
Move on down the road twenty some odd years. The sisters grow up (some more than others) and grow very close, especially when Christy has children. A boy and then a little girl named Meg.
Meg is a little Christy. The child loves all things girl and was born to have her picture taken. She knows it. Loves it. And I love her. Pink bows and all.
This was a harder shoot than I had anticipated. Her skirt was a puke green color and she wore a white shirt with it. The combination doesn't look so hot in color. And... she is five. The idea of doing this was ggggrreat with her. About five minutes into the shoot she was over it. I mean OVER IT. That is where T came in to help. (T is short for Christy.) Anyhoo. My sis (her mom) came down from the house to help appease her. Thank heavens. So the rest is here for you in black and white. Enjoy.
