Did ya ever get that frustrating "...sorry, your image was only 676x533, please resubmit at a larger size..." red-text message from JPGmag?

Did ya ever scratch yer head and say, "Hey man, I'm a Shooter, not a Techie. What'cha talkin' about?"

If so Bunkie, here's a resource for you from the answer guys at Bluefive Software. They've got this FREE download called 'PIXresizer' - an all-in-one tool for just that problem. With a couple of quick clicks your shots are resized and ready for submission. I first heard about it at a Mentor Series Photo Workshop (but that's a another story) and immediately downloaded it for myself.

It's a delight to use, quick and easy, nothing to it - even for a Shooter. PIXresizer converted these shots of Cleveland Browns fans in about 20 seconds apiece - and did it so well they slipped right past those JPGmag red-text guys the second time around. This is one sweet tool to complement your other photo editing programs and best of all, the PIXresized files are saved in another folder so the originals remain unchanged.

Having sung those 'Red-Text Blues' more than once in my Shooter's life (and I can't sing either) I found this program to be a pure lifesaver. Now my son, raised in the computer age, could probably click and tweak his way through any resolution problem in no time at all. But he's also the type who tells me how to build a watch when all I want to know is the time.

Unlike my son's instruction efforts - or those of other long-forgotten Symbolic Logic classroom professors - PIXsizer lays it all out for you on a single-page graphic that even a Shooter can use. What size do you want? Click on that size. Not on the menu? Click on 'custom' and type in your own (or JPGmag's) numbers. How do you want it saved? Click on your choice and it's done.

You can download it, try it and learn it quicker than I can describe it though.

Did I mention it was free?
