The colors of the silence

Brass ball

Don't speak a word for a while, just forget the street hassle

Open your eyes and your ears and listen.

Listen to the voice of the silent colors,

listen to the their harmonies.

Forget about all the anxieties and nervousness

and learn to appreciate

the joy of the colors all around you.

Walk slowly by an old alley,

keep listening to your smooth steps and echoes

returned back by the old walls which accompany you

Stop for a little and listen to the sound of the ocean

Open your eyes onto a deep blue

Let the whistle of the gentle breeze caress your face

and smile when you feel it.

Red, the color of the passion, of the life, of the love

It could be smooth or hard and if you listen to his sound

you can hear a warm symphony which is able to spur you

for the joy of life.

Blue, the color of the reflection

For the moment you'd like to regroup yourself and

think about the past and future and not forgetting the present

Blue as only the sound of a magic saxophone playing

a blues track could whisper

Yellow, the color of courage

Let yourself be wrapped by the warmth of the yellow

when you're uncertain and be brave as only the yellow can be

as playing for you an Irish dance

Green, the color of the hopeless romantics

There will be always a tomorrow,

there will be always a hope

There will be always an answer to all our doubts

and a Brahms' suite played by piano and cello is

the soundtrack made by this fresh color

White, the color of the innocence,

such an innocence of when we were children.

White as the light which lead us through the darkness

A simple light beam which shows us the way

to come out of the dark

White is the voice of an allegro played by a

hundred violins and this allegro is always in crescendo

as our love for life, our laugh for joy.

Don't be deaf to the sound of the silent colors,

Keep listening and you'll learn a better way to survive
