I like foxes

These red foxes (Vulpes vulpes) had a den underneath a cabin in the Rocky Mountains, Colorado. I was lucky to find myself staying in the cabin opposite, so I had several opportunities to photograph them. There were three fox cubs and their mother. The cubs spent most of the day beneath the cabin, though they always came out to play in the morning. Their mum would occasionally come to check on them, often bringing food. It was an immensely satisfying feeling to sit near the fox cubs and become part of their world for a few minutes.
