Beautiful Gaspesie

I had 4 days. Four days where nothing was planned on my schedule for my two weeks summer vacation. So I just wanted to go. And I did.

I've traveled 2000km in those four days, where nothing was planned. It took me to Gaspesie, a region in the north east of Quebec, Canada. An eight hour drive from my place! One day to ride, two days there, and the fourth to come back (I just wished I had the cruise control on my car...). But the trip was so much worth it!

The region of Gaspesie is the continuation of the Appalachian range, enclosed by the estuary and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. The scenery is just breathtaking, be it on the coast or in the many parks and reserves inland. And two days are far from enough to visit everything.

My visit took me mainly in the north coast and in the Parc National de la Gaspesie. There, I could see an amazing panorama of the region. The rain and the fog just added to the beauty of the place. It just echoes the magic of the world we live in.
