The 6 of 10 Family Reunion

Once again it is summer and its time for hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream and oh yeah, Family Reunions! Being the 6th of 10 siblings always means a very large gathering not to mention interesting. To see how much the family has grown over the years is mind boggling. The nieces and nephews that were once the little ones now are the parents of the little ones. With 7 of the 10 original kids now being 50 and over each reunion takes on a more special tone, making it more precious as the years march on. It was a sort of unruly mob but its our unruly mob. The numbers on the hats for the original 10 were for all the young ones who could never figure out where their mom, dad, grandma or grandpa fell in the line up. They thought it was pretty cool to find out who actually was the oldest to youngest. So as you get together with your family reunions try to enjoy the new things life brings and remember time is fleeting.
