I call this candid shot theory project because it is very candid and revealing to the imperfection one has in the face. (Blemishes, extra hair, black heads, large pores, ect.)

No editing was even attempted on this project because I wanted to show the beautiful side of ugly.So to get this party started, I set my AF 12X Optical zoom camera on smart scene with auto focus and macro, held it about 6 inches in front of my face and SNAP! Captured the moment and took another and then another. Too my surprise I loved the way they came out. The images portrayed mainly my goofy side but my goal was actually to transform my face to an unrecognizable extent, only to find out I couldn't.

The main photo, as you can see, outlines my joker lines (which i get from my mother). I was making the infamous "Grr" face that I see alot of my friends make and noticed that in taking my picture with differnt facial expression, my demeanor remained the same.

I enjoyed this project very much and will do a follow up on other people.
