G.R.S.

... or, in other words : how to picture (sometimes very) young girls in tights, and get a result that might not be looked at as..ahem...suspicious.
During the years 2006 and 2007, I had to take my daughter to compete at some of those GRS meetings. That involved driving her, and sometimes some friends of her, to far suburbs of Paris you even haven't ever heard of. Problem is that I hadn't ever heard of those places before, or never intended to go, places whose name may sound exotic to a foreign hear : Rueil-Malmaison, Bois-Colombes, Ris-Orangis... After spending whole Sunday mornings in those places, they have nothing exotic left, believe me.
So, as I had a bunch of hours to waste several hours for the 1st world marvel's team (meaning my daughter, the 2nd world marvel being my son...no, he doesn't practice GRS, you moron ! it's exclusively a girl thing), what else could I do rather than getting some pictures of that. Some rules : no frame under the belt, focus on faces, try to catch something of these young girls that, on a picture, won't seem ... 'déplacé'... irrelevant or so.
And as I am shooting film : no sport frame! Moreover, there were professional shooters on the ground who make a living with these kind of frames. (ok, there's one among the 10 picts for this 'essay'! let's consider it's some sort of context pict).
Now, 2008, my daughter and her best friend have been attending French-boxing lessons. , 'La savate' is some sort of French equivalent to Thaï boixing. I am longing to shoot them at that sport.
