10 Minute Road Trip
By Jessica Hardin
9 July 2008
It was 100 degrees F here in Roseburg Oregon today. Our air conditioner went out on us and we were sitting around drowning in our own sweat. My husband and I decided to round the kids up and take them swimming to a place called Whistlers Bend Park about ten minutes away from our home. It's a beautiful drive and I had often thought of going out there and getting photos of the landscape but hadn't a chance to until today. We loaded in the car, cranked up the AC and headed down the road. My husband drove which meant I had free hands and eyes to take some shots out the windshield of the car. I chose to take the shots in black and white to give them a nostalgic look considering the type of shooting I was doing. I hope you enjoy them, I certainly enjoyed my ten minute Road Trip!
