The Boston Massacre

The story that goes with this is a sad one and a reminder. These photos were shot in the old Granary Burying Ground next to the Boston Common. Seconds after I took this shot, I overheard a man yelling at his wife, "It's the Boston Massacre, only 5 people died it's no big deal, come on!" As he moved towards Samuel Adams head stone, probably thinking of a cold dark amber ale... Please note that on the tombstone, Christopher Snider was 12 years old. Freedom is not free...never was...never will be. As a young child I great up in the face of terrorizm every day in Isreal between 1967-1969. When I lived in Iran for 2 years, I never ever NEVER went anywhere alone or without other Americans. I love my country and appreciate what I have and what I can provide for my children. Times are tough here but they are tougher elsewhere! Trust me I know. And finally, YES I eat apple pie (but perfer a good peach pie) and I wear a "Don't Tread On Me" tee shirt on the 4th of July. Never forget those who came before us and those yet to come. This is my respect to them who came here from every corner of this planet in "the pursuit of happiness". PEACE to all.

We need to partition Congress to change the word "men" to "people or humans".
