The Macro Yard
By Allen Price
29 June 2008
I'm usually looking for the that shot of a sweeping landscape or a sunset that entrances the eye with its millions of colors. But as of late, my macro lense has found itself attached to my camera, and I've been exploring my backyard. Well, it's more of the fact that I've neglected my yard for so long that I'm finally getting to list of "to do." With adult ADD setting in, I find myself easily distracted. Why rake leaves when there's a lonely turtle who needs his picture taken? Why mulch when there a hundreds of bees investigating your garden? Why do any of it? Then I see my wife standing there with her hands on her hips. But she is only standing there impatiently because she found a great shot and wants a picture of it.
