When ever I tell someone I went to Cape Cod for vacation they automatically respond with "Ooh, sweater sets and polo shirts, how classy." For those of you who have been there, its not all Kennedys and mansions.

I stayed in Truro, which is close to the tip of the cape. When I first went to Cape Cod I did not know what to expect, I too thought the same as my friends. Invited by my boyfriend and his family, I learned of the beauty of Cape Cod. Walking through the dunes and sitting on the beaches brings on a sort of peace within. The nature is absolutely breath taking.

My boyfriends father, Joe, is a photographer and spends a lot of time in Truro during the summer. Joe has a fantastic portfolio dedicated to the area. He inspired me to capture my own view of Cape Cod. These pictures are my favorite of the ones I took this summer.
