Power of a Photograph

To press the shutter and capture the fleeting moment has a significant power. A single photograph can tell more than a thousand words or an entire novel.
Through the photos I've took of my wife, I have felt closer to her, and feel her presence in a silent, natural way.
I shoot her mostly in common situations, when she is working overtime that school project (she is a teacher of elementary school) or when she's just relaxing, or reading a magazine.
Sometimes I take her photo when we walk in a nearby park, and sometimes when she's watching TV. It doesn't matter to me or her. And she never does a pose. I don't know why, she has never did even when I met her first time.
She's just who she is.
I do feel connected to world when I photograph. I feel a simple, quiet honesty in the air.
This silence and simple existence could be a driving force behind my photos.
