Life behind Bars (through the Eyes of a Peter Pan).

This is a story about animals. Animals i love. I love all animals. But most of all, i love enslaved animals. They are the ones that need love more than the others. And that's because it's the only thing they can get. People don't pay enough attention to animals in the zoo. Most of the people visiting a zoo are parents with their kids. I felt different as i was one of the small amount of people actually looking in their eyes and not getting in front of the cage posing for a flashy snapshot.
I love cats. I'm a happy owner/friend of a Blue Russian. She reminds me of panthers. I spent almost 2 hours in the "Cats" part of the Berlin Zoo. The lion in the photo was so sad and was really talking to me. It was love at first sight. I named him Aslan (Narnia)...& I felt the magic!
Afterwards i walked to the next cage. There she was. A beautiful and deep in melancholy tiger. She was so pretty and peaceful. In fact she reminded me of my cat. Look at her "little" paw. We really had a connection there.
The only ones that didn't really look sad were the snakes and the other relatively small animals.
I wish our souls were deamons in the shape of an animal. Like in the Golden Compass movie.
Long story short. I love animals, and i think it shows.
A "Peter Pan" growing older,

PS. The last one is my Blue Russian, her name is Mia and she is 3 years old!
