Hiram 'Hank' King Williams (September 17,1923-January 1,1953) was an American singer, guitarist, and songwriter who has also become an icon of country music and rock'n'roll, and was one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. A leading exponent of the honky tonk style, he had numerous hit records, and his charismatic performances and succinct compositions increased his fame.
His songbook is on of the backbones of country music and several are pop standards as well. He has been covered in range of pop, gospel, blues and rock styles.
His premature death at the end 29 helped fuel his legend.
Well, these are the words you can read everywhere about Hank Williams.
For us, who like country, hillbilly or western swing music, he is the man.
He was a drinker, a fighter, a lover and a broken heart.
When he starts to sing, the people listened to him. He was really on of them.
Some people wrote me in mails that my shots work good with Hank's songs.
