A Music Teacher's Day in the Life

Shakers and ringers and drums (oh my). Rosin and shoulder rests. Broken strings, buzzing Orff instrument bars and the most "interesting" sounds you've ever heard come out of a recorder. These are all scenes and sounds from my everyday life, spent teaching general music and strings at a small school in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
It is a difficult job, but ultimately, one that brings me intense joy and satisfaction. Plus, I get to spend most of my day playing and making music!
