My Bio

Photography is my life. I live, breathe and sleep it. The world is my canvas. The camera is my brush and palette.

Born and raised in New York City and growing up in an apartment in The Bronx, Manhattan was my backyard.

At a very young age I lost the vision in my right eye, due to an accident. This incident gave me a different perspective on viewing everything around me. A short time after leaving the hospital, my parents gave me my first camera. Photography has been my passion ever since.

Everything I know about photography has been self-taught through books, magazines and talking with other photographers. A few years ago I put my camera in the back of my closet, never to speak or read of photography for some time. In the summer of 2003 I ended up in the hospital again with another surgery. As soon as I could walk again I dug into the back of that closet and pulled out my camera and went out to Coney Island and started shooting.

I will never put my Brush and Palette down ever again.
