Wondering around villas in Veneto
By Alice Dalla Stella
17 May 2008
There are more than 2000 villas in Veneto, the region at the north east of Italy. Most of them have been inhabited until few decades ago, some are still inhabited.
Maybe you know Palladio, maybe not. He was a famous architect and many of these villas are his creatures.
It is amazing what you can see inside them and often it takes just five minutes by car to reach such places as almost every town has its own villa.
I am wondering around them, starting from the nearer to my home: Villa Godi Malinverni.
