America Mura

America Mura or America 'Village' is for Osaka what Greenwich Village is for New York. Hundreds of small boutiques are crammed together here as well as restaurants, bars, art galleries, CD and bookstores (new and second hand), nail art shops, tattoo joints, ice cream parlors and cafes. Young people like to come here for shopping, eating and drinking (no alcohol if you are under 20 in Japan!) or just to meet friends, hang out and watch videos on the jumbo outdoor TV screens.
It's also a place where I like to go to take pictures of the colorful crowd.
