Objects: seeing the unusual in the usual

Where ever I am I usually look around for things that not only stick out in the crowd or surroundings but seem so normal but at closer look have something special, uncommon, extraordinary or simply poke at you, make fun of you or challenges you to think and feel different about it. It doesn't matter if it's New York, London, Paris, Santa Domingo or The Hague, any city has something to show, to share even if it's of the beaten track, not your typical touristic attraction or usual eye catcher. I enjoy it, time and time again....you recoqnize that feeling?
