Retirement

Retirement

One of the reasons why I am so intrigued by photographing abandoned spaces is mainly because of the feeling I get when entering one of these environments. I've experienced my share of multiple deaths in my immediate family throughout my life and I suppose I feel somewhat connected to these dying and deteriorating buildings. A part of me romanticizes over the history that a space has experienced throughout it's existence. Another, and much larger part of me feels tranquil when entering a doorway of an entirely empty 1920's building filled with asbestos and peeling wallpaper. I'm still trying to figure out why I'm so attracted to the eerieness of it, but I'm sure the answer will come in time.

The shots are amazing, but I think the actual story needs to be more thought out. (more examples, write more)
    good work, though!
