It's Friday. All week we've been waiting for it, its tradition its become.. life. Screening time.
It's the only thing that keeps us going to work shift after shift and deal with all the pissed off customers who are paying 14 dollars to see a movie they probably should of waited to rent.
Its a time for us to hang out and not worry about if the boss is watching, its how we connect. It sounds stupid but its the same as family now.
Theres something about this group of people that once the doors lock and the popcorn machines shut off, this dark theater becomes a social mecca. We stay up till 4am watching movies that people pay an hours wage too see for free, but its not about the movie. Its about being with your friends.
We all make the walk every night to the 24 hour supermarket that shares the parking lot with us, we grab our snacks and drinks to get ready for the movie. We laugh and talk about all the crappy people we dealt with just hours earlier and it makes it all worth it.
Im part of this group, I decided to bring my camera and try to capture what its like to be part of the late night screening crew.
enjoy your show.
