I love to take photographs around the home, as most of you are aware getting time to wander off whenever the urge arises proves to be difficult at times.

Grab your camera, a tripod and possibly a torch and let your imagination take control, I usually find the most bizarre positioning produces the best results.

I hope you enjoy this small collection from my studio/kitchen of the humble yet beautiful Coca-Cola can.

These shots were taken on a Canon 400D, I used a white LED torch and a blue LED torch I also made use of the kitchen lights and of course the camera flash. The kitchen sink came in handy for the underwater shots and when tipping the coke, the oven hob came in handy as it has a shiny stainless steel background and the kitchen worktop made a perfect base for the long exposure shots.

It is amazing what you can find around the home to make interesting, have fun and if you don't like the results try with something else there is always something in the cupboard or refrigerator.
