We are losing good people

We are losing good people here, we are losing mentors and people we admire.
These are good people, they just want to be honest about their art.
I speak both as a reader and a contributor.
I'm confused, aren't we the same people that applauded Avedon and Mapplethorpe's work?
Then what is "Brave New Photography" all about?
These men are not behind their computers manipulating bad images and calling it art.
These men are elevating menial everyday lives into an art form.
And I admire them for that...
