We went to Ocean City right after the storms went through. The sun peeked out and suddenly we were surrounded by gorgeousness. It's not a word, but it's the only one that works. The family skittered off in every direction. Melissa and I went on the beach--the wind was howling, the sand was getting in our eyes, and it was positively freezing, but we did not care. Ever the ham, she posed and posed, but my favorite was when the wave crashed on her feet--she wasn't ready, and her reaction was priceless.

We met the family and played $25 worth of skee ball. It took an hour to choose the prizes. I can't think of a better way to spend an evening.
