Tanghalang Maria Makiling

"Tanghalan" is a Tagalog word, that means a stage or a venue for Performance. The Theater is named after Maria Makiling, an enchantress of Phlippine Mythology that is believed to reside on the foot hill of Mt. Makiling.
The Tanghalang Maria Makiling was the venue for the Ballet recitals of my students at the Philippine High School for the Arts. We have been performing yearly on this venue but i never had the chance to look and appreciate the beauty of the place. So, i went around and brought with me my EOS canon rebel camera. as i took pictures, i realize the theater was built in such a way that the audience or visitors would be able to have a 360 degrees view of the outlying areas, mountains of Laguna and Banahaw. and the largest fresh water lake in the country, Laguna Lake.
As i gather my Photo collection i realized that taking pictures of the place is equally satisfying as taking pictures of the rehearsals and performance of my students.
