Naked playground.

As soon as I realised I could develop my photography to communicate my ideas, my love of the world deepened and my awareness heightened.
Making the transition from showing what I see, to revealing what I imagine.
I've always tried to dig deeper. Its all about perception...feeling... ideas...desire.
Ideas alive, brooding, bustling to get expressed. Raw. Exciting.
Let's face it, everyone can take photos. Some take some exceptional ones, a few keep taking exceptional ones. Most subjects have been covered by now. Exhausted?
NO.
We are all unique. Find your voice. Explore creative needs and desires.....Realise......Be.
I try to refine my ideas all the time, expand my knowledge and hone my skills, feel my way and establish myself amongst it all.
Photography. It's the stuff of life.
These photographs are my attempt at creating pictures I can look at again and again. Where a two dimensional image of the human body is elevated beyond my understanding and control, back into three dimensions, sculptural and yet, so soft. Through tight cropping and concentrating on detail, I was able to remove it's context within the material world, no possessions, no faces, no complications. Just pure form. Flesh merging with light so that the contours of it's shape are one with the energy of the sun.
Some of the images have sublime qualities I want to push further, others I feel are just stylised and ordinary.
Time to take some more!
