One long day

I was in Iraq in 2004 and 2005
I learned who I was and how far I could go. I saw the worst and the best of human emotions. I joined the Army National Guard and thought I was going to go to school and serve my country. I went to basic training and got in the best shape of my life. I was an Infantry soldier. I married Maggie, my wife, right out of basic training because they told me I was going to be deployed. Then I went to Iraq and found out who I was. I have never been so scared and focused in my life. I felt like I went in to a dream and just recently I feel like I have been seeing life through normal eyes again now (over 3 years since I have been home).
I wasn't able to drive for about a year when I got back from that place. I still get anxiuos when i drive but I can manage it. I have focused all my emotions on taking pictures and becoming an emotion catcher. I love what I do now with Mrs. T she is my best friend and partner and she helped me get through all the demons i brought back with me. I thought I would show some images I see when I close my eyes.
Thank you for reading Hope you have a great day
