"If you want peace of the soul, come in Montreux." In 1996, five years after his death, a statue of Freddie Mercury was placed on the lakeside in Montreux. Freddie Mercury and Queen group have loved the Swiss Riviera for his calm and beautiful. But they also came to save the famous Mountain Studios. At that time, considered one of the best recording studios in the world. Other celebrities were residents of this city as Scott Fitzgerald, Leo Tolstoy, Hans Christian Andersen, George Byron, Ernest Hemingway, Vladimir Nabokov, Igor Strawinski to mention only a few. Other famous event in Montreux Jazz Festival where I saw fabulous concerts as Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald or Santana, there are more than 30 years.
