Eruption of Merapi
By Karolus Naga

Merapi is a volcano that located at Central Java. It has been erupted for 68 times since 1548 (www.wikipedia.com). 15th of May 2006, it erupted once more and luckily I was there with my friends. We heard from the news couples of days before, and its a great thing if I able to capture the eruption and perhaps make some bucks with it ... :P
I made 34 shoots from two different spots with my Nikon FM10 but on this story I only posted the images that I captured from Merapi-Golfs yard. Actually this series is about a continuous-shoot, and my camera doesn't provide me the continuous-shoot mode. I did not bring a tri-pod or mono-pod at the time, so when the eruption begun I had to held my camera steady and captured it every 2-3 seconds. I posted all the 34 images at my blog (www.theauthorisdead.blogspot.com).
