Ballyfolion House: A story of unique family in a countryside

Ballyfolion House

Ballyfolion House located in Adare, Limerick, Ireland. There lived 'the Scullies". This house is a big ranch, consist of a central house, a milking house, two barns and a huge greyhound cage. There lives John Scully, his wife Margarette Doody-Scully, his brother Frank and his son, Daniel. Daniel looks very different in this family because he has dark skin and sure, he's not typical irish people.

Everyday, Frank and Daniel wake up in the morning go to the ranch for feeding and milking cows then taking care everything in the ranch before the lunch time and watching football match on television all night long. John manages the business and make sure everything done well. Margarette is a writer. She write a book about Irish culture and religious issue. It's been 3 generation live in Ballyfolion House. They have been travelled in other countries, big cities around Europe and America but the countryside atmosphere in Adare won't let them leave the house. As Daniel always sings "...You should come to no harm, On the animal farm, In the country.." in the warm living room along with finest irish stouts!
