The Wall at Waikiki

The Wall at Waikiki

I've always been intrigued by the people, mostly teenagers who come from all over the island to gather at a slippery wet wall just off Kuhio Beach in Waikiki, Hawaii. If you've ever visited Hawaii and stayed at Kalakaua Avenue on the island of Oahu, you have most likely been to the Wall in Waikiki! The Wall is a popular local spot for teenage body-boarders to gather, have fun, and just hang out! Many tourist and locals alike stroll to the end of the concrete jetty to catch a glimpse of the kids having fun, jumping and diving from the wall and hanging a drop knee on their boards in the fast moving surf below. So if you are ever in Waikiki, stop by the Wall!

I love it! I didn't know the wall was out there or I would have relaxed more in the water.
