In the Field at Sundown

Indiana Desire
I stand staring off into this field, I bask in the warmth and beauty of the new setting sun. It starts its decent behind the stoic trees; the warm air pushes aside the outreached limbs and I catch a glimpse of its serenity. The field of gold reaches out its hands as to ask the sun not to go, but like a mother after tucking in her children, the sun slowly slips away. The beans draw a final breath, as if to prepare for the harvest tomorrow and fulfill the farmers desire. I stand staring off into this field, I bask in the warmth and beauty of Indiana.
