they were the misfits, caught up in their webs of love, lies, and intrigue. life's traditional milestones--marriage, children, first love, illness, loss and heartbreak--all seemed exaggerated and impossibly dramatic in their tiny world. they spoke a lost language, but it didn't matter, for their faces told the stories. they came from all walks of life, both rich and poor, educated and not, humble and proud, seedy and wholesome. one worked hard, another, a gold-digger. one an honest and loyal friend, another a backstabber, still another a scheming criminal. their story unfolds just like ours, one day at a time.
side eye broke red bow's heart and also slept with her man, but she's trying to get back in red bow's good graces by helping her to break up mystery man's rebound coupling with an ugly girl. the bride's baby....LIVED! tracked down in an orphanage, bridey takes her home. mystery man meets a mysterious beauty in a black dress at a cocktail party, which causes ugly girl some distress and more drinking...she is the alcoholic. side eye and red bow hired little black dress and paid her handsomely to flirt with the lascivious mystery man.
they are the misfits.
