Mother's Mourning
By Martin Kharumwa

Having already been to a number of family funerals this month. I chose to document this last one, which to me was the most consistent with our personal traditions. The women mourned their son, husband, grandson, whilst the men dug a grave for their brother, and carried his casket.
With all this going on his 5 year old daughter, gradually evolved from a healthy curiosity about her father's sleepiness, to a realization that sent ripples into the atmosphere.
