"'Spotlighting' is a way to give your favorite JPG photos the attention they deserve!
The Spotlight is a new feature that allows you to place photos in prime locations throughout jpgmag.com, for just one dollar!
For only $1, you get...
* Improved visibility: We'll place the photo of your choice in multiple, highly visible promotional spaces throughout the site - shown at least 500 times.
* More feedback: Entice more members of the community to favorite, comment, and vote - outstanding work shouldn't go unnoticed!
* Detailed statistics: We'll show you the activity the photo received as a result of your Spotlight placement (assuming it's your own photo. Yes, you can Spotlight anyone's photo!)
If you decide to Spotlight another JPG member's photo, they'll be notified - so they'll know whom to thank!"
Well, as you can see I'm not a JPG+ member so I have no spotlights to give to others, but that hasn't stopped others from giving one of mine a spotlight.
