the misfits ii - sordid pasts/the suicide attempt

they were the misfits, caught up in their webs of love, lies, and intrigue. life's traditional milestones--marriage, children, first love, illness, loss and heartbreak--all seemed exaggerated and impossibly dramatic in their tiny world. they spoke a lost language, but it didn't matter, for their faces told the stories. they came from all walks of life, both rich and poor, educated and not, humble and proud, seedy and wholesome. one worked hard, another, a gold-digger. one an honest and loyal friend, another a backstabber, still another a scheming criminal. their story unfolds just like ours, one day at a time. they are the misfits.

Cool stuff Jen. Are you hinting at a lesbian relationship gone wrong.

side-eye broke poor redbow's heart. the midwife showed up and begrudgingly saved her. side-eye gets around and makes trouble. we'll see what happens next.
