Old Boots, New Boots, Painted Boots

The End of the Road

This is what we found. A series of boots placed on top of a quarter mile of fence line.

We don't know how the tradition started or who started it, we just know that a bunch of people have passed by this landmark and left their own pieces of history.

When I saw the boots, I kept wondering about their stories. Who owned them? What did they do in them? Where have they traveled? Why are they so worn out?

If you think a picture says a thousand words, imagine how many things these boots can tell you just by looking at them.
