Louisiana State Fair

Ansel Adams said something to the effect that the genius in photography lies in knowing where to stand. This goes double for picking good subject matter. It is so much easier to have a fun shooting session when the world offers up a spectacle. Fireworks stands, rural markets, parades... these are the places where you can exhaust yourself trying to take it all in (not to mention fill up some memory cards). This is sort of the long way around to saying that the state fair is in town and I had a hell of a time shooting it. Hello world, it's me Frank.
