Bridge Encounters
By Markus Weber

There's that one narrow flap bridge connecting the eastern waterside of the city with downtown. It's pedestrians only and a somehow smallish construction. You get pretty close to the opposing traffic of human characters. That's a reason why you sometimes can't help but look into the faces, try to read in their minds and wonder. This representations are distinctive encounters for someone speculating about the thoughts of strangers. Simply try to ask yourself "who are they, where do they come from and where will they go to?"

Carl Kuntze gave props (20 Sep 2009):
Good composition. Incisive selection of images.
